Black sacks - refuse
We'll supply residents who don't have access to any type of domestic wheeled bin - individual or communal - with black sacks for their rubbish. You'll get two rolls of 13 black sacks on a six-monthly basis, in April and October, for your household rubbish. Please note, you should only use one black sack per week.
If you need extra refuse sacks, you should buy them from an independent supplier.
Clear sacks - recycling
If you need more recycling sacks - either because you're on a recycling sack collection system, or because you have excess waste or a missed collection - please fill in the recycling sack request form or call the Environment Contact Centre on 01642 726001.
If you're on sack collection system, don't leave it until you have none left before ordering your new sacks, as they won't be delivered until the next time your recycling is collected. You can also collect clear recycling sacks from the following locations:

- Newport Hub - St Paul's Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 5NQ
- Streets Ahead for Information - 109-111 Parliament Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 4JE
We aim to deliver the additional / replacement sacks within 14 working days.
