Gardens and green spaces are blooming right across Middlesbrough and it's a delight to see. To keep your gardens looking tip-top, our green waste collections run fortnightly until September. In October and November they change to a monthly collection. Check the date of your collection and download your calendar now.

Green waste goes into your green bin and it needs to be loose, not bagged. You can add:

• grass cuttings
• hedge clippings
• dead plants
• weeds
• cut flowers
• shrub prunings
• bark leaves
• small twigs
• branches

Anything which is not on that list can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre in Haverton Hill. Please book your appointment before you go and remember to bring your ID with you.
