Key Stage One children

All children in Key Stage One (Reception, Year 1, and Year 2) are entitled to free school meals.

But if you're getting any of the qualifying benefits, you should apply for free school meals anyway. Your child's school can get extra funding if you do.

Key Stage Two children

Please check the eligibility before you apply.

We can accept applications for children at the following schools:

• Ayresome Primary School
• Beverley School
• Caldicotes Primary Academy
• Holmwood School
• Newport Primary School
• North Ormesby Primary Academy
• Priory Woods School
• Thorntree Academy
• Whinney Banks Primary School

If your child's school is not listed, you'll need to apply directly to the school for free school meals.

What happens next

Once we've looked at your claim, we'll send you a letter telling you what we've decided. If you qualify for free school meals, we'll tell your child's school. You do not need to do it.
