Children from families who have 'no recourse to public funds' (NRPF) are now eligible for free school meals.

You'll need to provide proof of your family's annual household income. It must be no higher than:

• £22,700 for families with one child
• £26,300 for families with two or more children

Please do not apply if your annual household income is more than this.

Depending on your circumstances, you may need to show evidence to prove you're eligible.

What happens next

Once we've looked at your claim, we'll send you a letter telling you what we've decided. If you qualify for free school meals, we'll tell your child's school. You do not need to do it.
