- Sunday 7 May - a coronation concert will be performed at Windsor Castle
- Monday 8 May - a special Bank Holiday in honour of the coronation, giving everyone the opportunity to support good causes through Big Help Out activities

Holding an event
Funding
Please note, due to our current financial situation, we cannot give out grants for street parties to celebrate the coronation. If you apply to any of our grants programmes for funding for a street party, we will not consider your application.
Location
If you're holding a street party, you'll need to apply for a road closure. We'll be putting in place a simplified road closure process to make it easier for you. More information will be available on the road closures page soon.
You can find out lots of helpful information about holding a street party on GOV.UK.
Don't forget, Middlesbrough has lots of parks and open spaces. Please feel free to have your Big Lunch in Stewart Park, Albert Park, Pallister Park, or any of our other community areas.

Have some fun
Make sure the little ones can get involved in this historic occasion too! You can download pictures for them to colour in, including a crown and a greeting card, or they can take on the coronation wordsearch.
If you're planning a street party, you can download recipe ideas, bunting to colour in, and even a coronation playlist.
You can use the official coronation emblem for all events celebrating the coronation. It's free to download from the coronation toolkit, which also contains loads of other things to help with your celebrations.
